H1N1 srilanka

Tribune-Star staff report

TERRE HAUTE The Vigo County Health Department is planning a second round H1N1 clinic for children 6 months to 18 years from 1 to 7 p.m. today in the Vigo County Government Annex Building’s County Council Chambers at First and Oak Streets.

Both the H1N1 nasal mist and H1N1 injectable (the shot) will be available for free. However, the nasal mist will be administered to anyone 3 to 18 years old unless a parent/legal guardian can provide written documentation from a physician stating why the child should not receive the nasal mist. A parent or legal guardian must accompany a child to the clinic to receive the H1N1 vaccine.

Business ‘not’ as usual srilanka

The day-to-day activities in Kandy have virtually come to a standstill, with the spread of the deadly AH1N1 virus in the Central Province. In confronting the situation, authorities had to temporarily close down schools within the province. However, a temporary closedown of businesses could be deadlier than AH1N1. Therefore, as the picture shows, most shop attendants, hair designers and other customer-service staff now wear protective masks while at work (Pic by Rukshan Abeywansha)
